About the Project

This project was created as an interactive kiosk interface that allows users to explore information about Ontario’s provincial parks. It presents content such as park history, wildlife, visitor activities, and classifications through visually rich layouts and easy-to-use navigation.


The interface is designed to be user-friendly and engaging, making it suitable for public display environments. Users can interact with different sections to discover detailed information about parks, ecosystems, and outdoor experiences across Ontario.

Challenges

One of the main challenges was designing an interface that is both informative and highly interactive while remaining simple enough for users of all ages. Ensuring that navigation is clear and intuitive was essential for a kiosk-based experience.


Another challenge was handling large amounts of content, including maps, images, and detailed text, without overwhelming the user. Structuring the information in a visually balanced way required careful layout planning and UI design decisions.

The Process

The project began with planning the content structure and user flow to ensure a smooth interactive experience. Wireframes were created to define how users would navigate between sections such as history, wildlife, and activities.
